Photo Index Books

Order Photo Index Books of all your photos. 8½x11 hard cover books to show family and friends and organize in a more elegant manner. Image rotation is included with every Photo Index Book. Images are 25 images per page, approximately measuring 1.5"H x 1.75"V for a horizontal image and 1.5"H x 1" V for a vertical image. Each book is printed on thick, durable paper and printed double sided to look like a real book custom made for you.

Extreme Backup^SM

Your photos are some of your most precious possessions. They are linked to our memories and remind us of important times in our lives, such as weddings, birthdays, vacations or simply enjoying good times with friends. Have us backup your scanned images for 1 ($4.95), 6 ($14.95) or 12 ($24.95) months to help preserve and protect your memories. DVDs can be lost or damaged over time. Ensure that your memories are protected from unexpected events. (Duplicate DVDs not included in cost, only storage of your files)

While our digital repository safely secures your photo images, in the unlikely event that your backup files are damaged or unusable, ScanMyPhotos.com cannot guarantee, warranty or be liable in any way for your files stored in our data room vaults and will refund no more than your charge for the Extreme BackUp storage fee.

To order copies of your Extreme BackUp photo files on DVD for $14.95, S&H included, click here. Orders must be placed within the term of your Extreme BackUp period. Ex. If you order just one-month, then you must submit a claim within one month.

Additional DVDs

Image Rotation

Due to the nature of the scanner, we must have all the photographs submitted laying the same direction, despite the orientation of the original photo. By choosing the image rotation option, we do the work of rotating your photos to the correct orientation after the scanning is done so your pictures look correct when you open them.

Scan in a Specific Order

Choose this additional option, for an additional cost, if you have grouped your photos into bundled categories. Each bundled group must then be organized by size, smallest to largest. We recommend that you include index cards with handwritten notes describing the category or year, as pictured. The number in the top right corner tells us the order in which to scan. If the bundle order is not important, we do not need the number there. We do not offer reorganize your photos in chronological order. We either follow the number in the corner or scan in random group order when no number is present. The index card will be scanned along with the pictures and will be the first image in each series of photos. DO NOT use Post-it notes (they will be either scanned on the image or thrown away) or pieces of paper (they will jam in our scanner and be thrown away). While selecting this option does override the need to organize your entire order in size order, it does not override taking all of your photos out of envelopes or having the photos in some sort of orderly fashion.

Front & Back Scanning

Many old photographs have notes or handwritten messages on the back of the photograph. This options lets our technicians know that scanning both the front and back of the photographs need to be scanned. Each side will be a separate file and be sequential number files. Due to this, the total number of photographs submitted is doubled. Choosing this option results in two scans per print (ex: scanning 1,000 photos will cost $64.00 two times) and is exclusive to Pay-per-1,000 option.
