Free Shipping Day 2010
On Friday, December 17, more than 1,000 participating merchants will offer free shipping with delivery by Christmas Eve in the continental United States. ScanMyPhotos.com is participating for its fill-the-box 35mm mounted slide and photographic scanning services.

Free Shipping Day is a one-day event held each December and involving hundreds of merchants who offer free shipping with delivery by Christmas Eve.
This year’s event begins at 12 a.m. EST on Friday, December 17 and ends at 12 a.m. EST December 18.
The response has been tremendous. More than 750 merchants participated in 2009; more than 650,000 merchant offers were clicked on; and more than 35,000 sales took place through FreeShippingDay.com.
The goal for 2010 is to involve more than 1,000 merchants and push their free shipping sales above the 50,000 mark! Thanks to ever increasing national media coverage, major-merchant interest and consumer enthusiasm, we feel this is an entirely doable goal. Free Shipping Day was conceived and created by Luke Knowles in December 2008.
In just two weeks, Knowles and his FreeShipping.org team recruited hundreds of merchants to offer free shipping with guaranteed delivery by Christmas Eve on December 18, 2008.
Knowles expected a favorable response but didn’t anticipate the overwhelming interest from national media, merchants and consumers. Knowles believes the opportunities are endless and would someday like to include the majority of online merchants in Free Shipping Day.
