Our prepaid slide scanning box fits around 540 slides and costs as low as $235, or around 41 cents per slide.

After you place your order, we’ll send you a prepaid box for your slides. Before you pack them up and ship them to us, please read our guidelines for how to prepare your slides for scanning.

All work is completed onsite at our facility in Irvine, California and handled with the greatest of care by trained professionals. We hand scan each slide and use special technology to ensure your slides are translated into the highest quality digital format possible.

Packaging Restrictions: Contents must reasonably fit within the Priority Mail packaging. Box cannot be reshaped or deformed when closed. When sealing a flat-rate box, the container flaps must be able to close within the normal folds. Tape may be applied to the flaps and seams to reinforce the container; provided the design of the container is not enlarged by opening the sides and the container is not reconstructed in any way. If you do not comply with these USPS requirements, the post office will return your box unprocessed and you will be liable for the cost to repack and resend to ScanMyPhotos.com

Additional Options: The quantity ordered for additional options MUST match the quantity of boxes ordered.

Refund Information: Due to the nature of the prepaid boxes and shipping costs, we cannot offer a refund once the empty box has been shipped.

Replacement Box: If you lose or damage your box, we charge $16.95 per box replacement fee to have new boxes shipped to you.

Important Notes

Our scanners are set up to scan standard 35mm slides. If we receive 126mm mounted slides, some of your image will be cropped off the top and bottom while some of the slide mount will be scanned on the right and left. Similarly, if we receive 110 mounted slides, your image will be smaller with a large black border on all sides. We cannot alter this. See the image below for diagrams showing the crop and an example of what the scan looks like.

Slides that are double mounted (see below) must be removed from metal mounts prior to submission for scanning. Any slide received still mounted in the metal bracket will not be scanned.
