NPM is a nationwide effort to increase awareness for preparing and to effectively deal with emergencies and natural disasters.


It is designed to encourage Americans to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, and communities.




Companies across the nation, including ScanMyPhotos, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., have registered to participate in NPM. Each business is issuing an urgent recommendation to encourage people to take action and prepare for emergencies year-round.




“One of the most important items in every household are photographs. As the average household has about 5,500 analog photo snapshots, there is an urgency to preserve those generations of precious memories for today’s all-digital world. Photos must be protected from natural disasters,” says Mitch Goldstone, president, and CEO of ScanMyPhotos.com.
