Why ScanMyPhotos.com and our customers love Google Photos: We so agree with Ms. Stern and add this. If you look up the term “raving fan,” the most descriptive example are the scores of mind-blowing reviews for Google Photos [@GooglePhotos] not just from the leading tech reporters, but photographers, techie types and literally every group. In my 25-years in the photo biz, there has never been a quicker race to number one with a chart-topping mega win. The entire Google family has much to celebrate as we too extend our accolades. This is a huge win for everyone with pictures to share, archive, and organize.
The only missing link from the recent Google developers conference, held in San Francisco, was that largely only recent pictures – mostly from archived mobile devices are being uploaded to Google Photos. Although ScanMyPhotos.com, the Ecommerce photo digitization service has scanned more than a quarter billion pictures, we have our work cut out as we help digitize generations of past memories from analog snapshots so everyone can upload all to Google Photos.
